BRIEF REPORT

Recommendations for Scientific Reports on Depression in Late Life

WPIC Sleep Group, Room 1135-E, 3811 O'Hara Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15213.

The authors present research recommendations for studying the significance of age at onset of depression in late life. The recommendations presented are revised and adapted from the 1982 Dahlem Conference on the Origins of Depression. The importance of implementing the recommendations presented is discussed.
